The Wizardry Players’ Guild [WPG] was formed by a group of Wizardry 8 veterans who switched over to Guild Wars when it was released. However, prior experience with Wizardry 8 is NOT a requirement for membership (most of our members have never played Wizardry, so we won’t hold it against you if you aren’t familiar with it). We are a primarily North American guild, with the majority of members in the Eastern to Pacific Time Zones (GMT -5 to GMT -8 ). We are also the leader of our Kurzick alliance comprised of approximately 150 members, with more than half of them being active players. Our primary focus is PvE play, though some members engage in PvP from time to time. The guild is proud to be host to a large number of nice, helpful and honest men and women who are fun to play with. We are a casual guild, and as such, there are no game play requirements (such as Faction Farming) for membership. Members are encouraged to play how ever they feel comfortable and have fun in the process. We are a fun and light hearted bunch of folks, with players ranging in age from their teens to later adulthood. So, regardless of your age, you will likely be able to find someone with your mental and/or physical age to play with.

Guild activities are organized on the WPG forum (http://4guildwars.7.forumer.com/ ), which serves not just as a conduit to set up events, but helps to foster a sense of community among our members. The forum also has a large amount of information about the game, including builds, strategies and personal anecdotes from members.

Since our members have characters of various levels in every chapter of the game, we are able to help people venturing in Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall and Eye of the North. And, if you are a more experienced player, our members have characters that have completed every mission and virtually every quest, so you should always be able to find people able to join you for the task you are looking to complete.

In addition to seeking new individual members, we are also looking for other guilds to join our alliance. If you are a guild with 25+ members and are looking to ally with other PvE focused Kurzick guilds, please feel free to give us a look. The Alliance currently has 3 sizable guilds, with many active players within each guild. As mentioned above, while we are primarily focused on the PvE aspects of the game, individual members do participate in some casual PvP and are not discouraged from doing so in any way. So, if you primarily focus on PvE, but do a little PvP now and again, that's certainly cool with us.
